Henrique Avancini, two-time Mountain Bike Marathon World Champion, has taken over the leadership of the SENSE Racing Team as part of his transition to road cycling. The announcement was made during the launch of the Localiza Meoo SWIFT Pro Cycling team on January 19, 2026, at the headquarters of S2 Indústria in Nova Lima, Minas Gerais.

Avancini not only serves as Team Leader (TL) for SWIFT Pro Cycling, competing in international races such as the Vuelta a San Juan and Volta a Portugal, but also leads the SENSE Racing Team alongside Wolfgang Olsen and Edson Rezende. The team focuses on national marathon events such as Brasil Ride and Iron Biker, as well as gravel competitions in the UCI Gravel World Series and potential participation in the Cape Epic.
He is an official ambassador for Sense Bike, highlighting models such as the Racevox SSL The X Carbon for high-performance racing. The Sense website promotes “A new era” with Avancini driving forward the legacy of Brazilian cycling.

Avancini, with 17 national XCO titles and Olympic appearances, brings extensive MTB expertise to raise the national standard in road cycling. His involvement strengthens partnerships with Shimano, Nomad, and Localiza Meoo, with a strong focus on ethics, anti-doping, and youth development.
